Codi writes husband and I decided to take a vacation to Darby, Montana, destination: Triple Creek Ranch as a getaway before his upcoming deployment. Upon arriving at Triple Creek Ranch, we immediately fell in love with it. We realized why Montana is nicknamed "Big Sky" and known for its majestic natural beauty. As we drove in we passed a pasture with horses grazing and the sun setting behind the mountain in the distance. We pulled up to the elegant, yet rustic main lodge to check in and were impressed with the friendly staff, impeccable service and western artwork. We stayed in a nice, private cabin, nestled in pine trees and enjoyed the personal fireplace and hot tub every night. They gave us a golf cart to get to and from our cabin and the main lodge, where we ate all of our meals.
